The Toppenish Livestock Commission Company has been around under various names and various owners for over 50 years. It has always been one of the largest marketing centers in the northwest due to its central location among cattlemen, dairymen, and cattle feeders. Jeff and John, the current owners, have been in business here since 1993.

The last few years livestock reciepts have averaged over 100,000 hd per year not including private direct treaty sales or video represented sales. Jeff and John have many different avenues to market all classes of livestock including being a representative for Superior Video Auctions. Under their managment the yard and facility have enjoyed updating and refurbishing including a new ring scale installed in 1997, replaced seating in the pavilion in 1999, a face lift for the pavilion in 2004, new tagging and processing alleys in 2005, remodeled office space in 2006, and all the while replacing all the wooden pens and gates with steel and powder river equipment.

Toppenish Livestock Commission Company also plays a large role in the Toppenish community with its support and sponsorship of various activities including the Toppenish Pow Wow rodeo, the Toppenish junior livestock show and sale for 4H and FFA, the Toppenish community chest food bank, and the annual Whistlestop music festival. We also support and sponsor many similar activities in communities throughout our trade area. We look forward to being involved in the marketing industry for many years to come and to continue to build solid relationships with the producers and feeders of the northwest.
